Georgia Southern plays in its final tournament before the Sun Belt Championship when the Eagles travel to the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, hosted by Appalachian State at Mimosa Hills Golf Club April 4-5.

The event will serve as a homecoming for Georgia Southern first-year coach Mimi Burke, who played at Appalachian State from 2009-13 and posted the 10th-best scoring average in school history.

Abby Newton makes her 17th start in the lineup for the Eagles, while Sarunchana Rattanasin and Mia Kness and will be playing in the lineup for the ninth time in their Georgia Southern careers. Alexandra Stevenson makes her eighth start in the lineup, and Madison Heideman makes her sixth career start. Kaysie Harrelson will play as an individual.

The Eagles are paired with Jacksonville State and USC Upstate for the first two rounds Monday. The group tees off holes 1-4 in a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Following the event, GS is set to compete in the Sun Belt Championship at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida, April 17-19.
