STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team will travel to Clinton, South Carolina, to take on the Presbyterian Blue Hose of the Big South Conference. First pitch from the PC Baseball Complex is set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12.
The Eagles own a 12-5 record over the Blue Hose, and are on a 12-game win streak dating back to 1952. PC won the first five games in the series, with all of those games taking place in 1950 and 1951.
The Eagles come into the contest with a 20-11 record, after taking two of three from then 10
th-ranked Texas State in San Marcos, Texas. Presbyterian comes into the match at 13-17, after dropping two games in an out-of-conference series to Morehead State.
The Eagles will send freshman LHP
Anthony DiMola (5.19 ERA, 0-0) to the mound to pitch for the Eagles. The Blue Hose will start junior RHP Colbey Klepper (6.19 ERA, 0-3).
