STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team with play the 20th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs in a three game series, the first two as a two game midweek series on March 8 and March 9. The March 8 game is set to take place at SRP Park in North Augusta, South Carolina, with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. The March 9 game is set for Statesboro, with a first pitch set for 6 p.m. The final game is set for March 29 in Athens.
The Bulldogs come into the week with a 9-2 record, after losing the series to rival Georgia Tech this past weekend. The Eagles come into the week with a 6-5 record, after sweeping the Miami (OH) RedHawks to get over .500 for the first time this season.
The Eagles will start LHP
Will Robbins on Tuesday, with Wednesday's starter yet to be announced. The Bulldogs will start RHP Will Childers on Tuesday and announce Wednesday's starter at a later time.
