STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team will take on the Mercer Bears in Macon, Ga, on Wednesday, March 16. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. from OrthoGeorgia Park.
The Eagles are entering the game with a 10-6 record, after coming off of a 4-1 week, including a neutral site win over the 20
th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs and a sweep of William & Mary. The Bears come into the game 15-1, downing #10 Florida State and #13 Georgia Tech in back-to-back weeks, along with a sweep of St. Peter's last weekend.
The Eagles will give redshirt-freshman LHP
Anthony DiMola his first collegiate start, while Mercer will go with sophomore RHP Ryan Lobus.
