SERIES PREVIEW: Eagles Host Final Non-Conference Home Stand

Georgia Southern faces William & Mary for the first time in 36 years

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern baseball team will host the William & Mary Tribe from the Colonial Athletic Conference for a weekend series, starting on Friday, March 11. The first pitch on Friday night is set for 6:30 p.m.

The Tribe come into the series with a 5-4 record. They split their last four games, defeating Lafayette and Princeton, but falling to Rutgers and Georgetown, the latter game in extra innings. The Eagles enter the series carrying a 7-6 record, 1-1 in the midweek series with Georgia, including a big 13-5 win over the 20th-ranked Bulldogs in North Augusta, SC, on Tuesday.

This weekend will see the Eagles use the same starting rotation as last week, making it the first time this season the Eagles have the same rotation two weeks in a row. The Tribe has not announced a pitching rotation.
