GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Wilson Andress shot 70-67=137, and the Georgia Southern men's golf team shot a 5-under 275 in the second round to move seven spots up the leaderboard into a tie for seventh after 36 holes at the Gator Invitational Saturday.
The Eagles' second-round total was the third-lowest of the afternoon session. Georgia Southern is tied with Missouri, two shots back of Florida Gulf Coast and five behind LSU. The field features six teams in the top-50 in the country.
Andress recorded four birdies against one bogey for a 67 in the second round, while
Ben Carr posted a 67 with a clean card and three birdies.
Mason Williams shot 1-under in the second round, and
Hogan Ingram shot a 72.
