
Eagles Remain Hot on Moving Day at the 2026 Schenkel

The Eagles tee off at 9:40 a.m. in tomorrow’s final round
STATESBORO – Georgia Southern followed up a strong first round with an 12-under 276 in the second round of the 46th playing of the Schenkel Invitational Saturday at Forest Heights Country Club.
The Eagles sit in second place after two rounds, trailing #26 by five strokes and leading Mississippi State by three strokes. Utah shot a Schenkel-tying 20-under-par 268 in the second round to vault into the lead.
Utah's Brandon Robison backed up his first-round 67 with a 65 to lead the way at -12. He holds a two-shot lead over two players.
Parker Claxton led the Eagles with a 67 (-5) and sits in fifth place heading into the final round. Ian Glanton shot a 68 and both Thomas Horne and Morgan Blythe posted 69s. Harrison Sewell and Elijah Zammarron were both under par for the round, shooting 71s.

The final round is slated to start at 8:10 a.m. Sunday, moving up 20 minutes to try and beat incoming weather. The trophy ceremony is expected to be at approximately 2:30 p.m. Admission is free, and spectators are welcome.
