STATESBORO – The Eagle Baseball Camps LLC has announced three baseball camps that will take place this winter, per Georgia Southern baseball head coach Rodney Hennon.

The first camp is a satellite youth camp that will take place at the Lyons Recreation Department in Lyons, Georgia. This camp is open to players ages 6-12 and will feature quality instruction from the GS baseball coaching staff. Players will have an opportunity to expand their baseball skills and benefit from a unique, competitive, and challenging atmosphere, while also learning in a fun environment. This camp is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023.

The next camp is a high school select camp that is open to high school and junior college athletes. This camp will take place at Georgia Southern's J.I. Clements Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023. This is a one day camp that will feature instruction and a showcase / pro style workout in which high school players can display their talents. The Georgia Southern Coaching Staff will teach the skills necessary to reach the collegiate playing level. As a player you will have the opportunity to meet the coaching staff one-on-one and be evaluated by the camp staff. This camp is designed for the player who is serious about taking their game to the next level. Each player will be provided his evaluation upon request.

The final winter camp is a father and son skills camp that will take place at Georgia Southern's J.I. Clements Stadium on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023. The camp will be under instruction of the Georgia Southern coaching staff and current Eagles players. The camp will focus on fundamentals for the player and train dads on proper techniques and skills they can take home to continue instruction with their son.  The camp is a great experience for the baseball family, and time that can be enjoyed together.
