Quotables from Coach Chad Willis
"It was a tough result. The biggest takeaway was first contact. We really struggled generating pressure from the service line in the first two sets, but I thought we did a better job in 3 and 4 in creating better opportunities defensively, which established some positive momentum on our side. We can build off that going into tomorrow to earn a split."

Next up
The Eagles and Chanticleers will meet again tomorrow at 1 p.m. in the HTC Center. The contest will air on ESPN+.
