Quotables from Coach Chad Willis
"We're disappointed in the loss, but I thought we did a much better job today of controlling first contact and getting pressure but came up short executing to finish. Our effort and energy were consistent, and we've got a group that knows how to compete and respond so we'll get back after it this week before hitting the road again next weekend."

The Eagles cap a six-match Sun Belt road swing at Marshall next weekend. The teams meet Friday night at 6 p.m. and Saturday at noon, and both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
