STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's soccer team will take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on Tuesday, November 1, at the CCU Soccer Stadium. Kick-off is set for 7 PM.
The Eagles and the Chanticleers have met 12 times in a series stretching back to 1985. Coastal Carolina currently holds a 8-3-1 record against the Eagles and is on a five-match win streak against GS. The Eagles' last win came in 2017 at home, a 2-1 victory.
Coastal Carolina comes into the match receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll and with a 4-4-6 record, including a 1-1-5 Sun Belt record after falling 1-0 to James Madison in penalty kicks. Georgia Southern comes into the match with a 1-13-1 record after falling to West Virginia at home on Friday, October 28.
This game is the regular season finale for both squads. This will be the fourth time in five years that the Eagles face Coastal Carolina to end the regular season.
