Preview: Eagles Begin Indoor Season In Gamecock Opener

STATESBORO – The Eagles are set to open their indoor track and field season in Columbia, SC, in the Gamecock Opener. The Eagles will be competing against 25 other programs during the Gamecock Opener, including Sun Belt Conference member Coastal Carolina. Spectators will be allowed at the meet, and more information can be found on gamecocksonline.com.

Georgia Southern will be competing in three other indoor invitationals this season, with the Eagles traveling to Lynchburg, VA, for the Liberty Elite Invitational on January 20, the Samford Bulldog Invite in Birmingham, AL, on February 11, and the indoor season concludes with the Sun Belt Indoor Championships in Birmingham on February 22.
