
MacAllister to Speak at 12th Annual Rising Coaches Conference

The conference is in Atlanta Monday and Tuesday.
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern assistant men's basketball coach Tim MacAllister will speak at the 12th annual Rising Coaches Conference in Atlanta Monday and Tuesday.
The lineup includes Alabama head coach and SEC champion Nate Oats, Virginia Tech head coach Mike Young, Georgia State head coach Rob Lanier, Noel Gillespie - head coach of the College Park SkyHawks of the NBA G League, Richie Riley of South Alabama and DeLaina Jordan of Parker Executive Search and many more. The event will also include a panel about the hiring process with new Kennesaw State women's basketball coach Octavia Blue and their COO who led the search Tamica Smith Jones.
The conference concludes with a free social justice panel at 6:15pm on July 7th. The panel will feature Georgia State Athletic Director Charlie Cobb and Clark-Atlanta president Dr. George French among others.
MacAllister is in his second season on the Eagle men's basketball coaching staff.
