STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern men's tennis improved to 11-9 on the season defeating Charleston 5-2 on Friday afternoon in Statesboro. The Eagles honored the three current seniors and two former seniors who had their senior season cut short.

The Eagles jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in doubles play winning on courts one and two.
Murphy McCullough and
Alexandros Roumpis defeated their opponents 6-2, while
Tao Castillo and
Pascal Wagemaker did the same.

Charleston jumped to the lead in singles play, winning on courts one and two. McCullough won in three sets, after dropping the first set. He finished out his match 6-2, 6-0 on court three. On Court four
Tao Castillo dropped the first set 6-0, before sweeping the final two sets 6-4, 6-4.
Valentin Dun won in straight sets, as
Jonathan Morales closed out the victory with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
