STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern baseball returns home for the back half of a four-game home stand, hosting East Division Leader South Alabama at J.I. Clements Stadium. The Eagles enter play on Friday with a 25-15, 9-6 record, while the Jaguars travel to Statesboro with a 24-13, 11-4 record.
The Eagles have won 12 of their last 14 games and will look to extend its consecutive series victories to four this weekend. Friday is presented by Army National Guard and Saturday is presented by Case IH and Tidewater.

- Nick Jones jumped to the top of the national lead in saves on Tuesday as he picked up his 12th save of the season.
- Mason McWhorter collected his team leading 13th home run on Tuesday against Jacksonville, adding to his 38 RBIs. Mason's 188 career RBIs are just six away from cracking the top-10 list in program history. He currently needs three doubles to take over the program record in that category as well. McWhorter needs three home runs to crack the top-10 in program history, currently sitting at 42.
