CONWAY, S.C. - Georgia Southern men's tennis fell to UNC-Wilmington 6-1 on Saturday afternoon in Conway, South Carolina. The Eagles fall to 8-5 on the season, while UNCW improved to 6-2 on the season.
UNCW jumped out to a 1-0 lead in doubles play, winning on courts one and three. Valentin Dun and Carlos Garcia won their doubles match 6-3 to split, before the Seahawks took the point on court three.
In singles play Jaap Aaldering scored the lone point for the Eagles, winning on court six 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. The Eagles will continue the weekend with a conference match against Coastal Carolina.
