Men’s Basketball Contest Against Georgia State Canceled

Fans can exchange tickets for this weekend or request a refund.

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern men's basketball game against Georgia State originally scheduled for Feb. 13 in Hanner Fieldhouse has been canceled.

The game was postponed due to COVID-19 exposure among student-athletes and staff within the Eagles' program and will not be made up.

Fans who purchased tickets for the game against Georgia State can choose to exchange their tickets for one of the Eagles' two remaining home games this weekend or have their payment refunded. Fans must fill out this form or contact the ticket office to exchange or obtain a refund at 1-800-GSU-WINS or tickets@georgiasouthern.edu. Ticket office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. All refunds must be requested by March 15.

The Eagles are scheduled to close out the regular season by hosting Appalachian State Feb. 26 and 27 in Hanner Fieldhouse. Friday's game tips at 6 p.m., and Saturday's contest is set to start at 3 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the GS Sports Network.
