
Women's Tennis Defeats ABAC Twice in Doubleheader

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern women's tennis improved to 4-4 on the season, defeating ABAC twice on Saturday at the Wallis Tennis Center. The Eagles won the first match of the day 6-1, before sweeping ABAC in the afternoon cap.
The Eagles began the morning with a victory in doubles on all three courts. They added to it with straight set victories on five of six courts. Sonja Keranen defeated Kaden Walker 6-0, 6-0, while Nadja Meier did the same on court two.
In the second match of the day, the Eagles would sweep ABAC winning 7-0 to improve to 4-4 on the season and 3-0 on the weekend. GS will be back in action on Wednesday as they are scheduled to take on Mercer in Macon, Georgia. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
