STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern baseball's first pitch for Friday's opener against No. 19 Tennessee has been moved back to 7 p.m. in an effort to give the playing surface more time to dry. Over the past week in Statesboro, the field has collected nearly eight inches and the grounds crew has worked diligently to prepare the field for opening night.
Friday's game is the first of a three-game series against the Vols.
