ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia Southern men's tennis fell to No. 12 Georgia on Wednesday afternoon in Athens, 7-0. The Eagles fell to 2-2 on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to 5-0 on the season.

No. 12 Georgia jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in doubles play winning on courts one and two. In singles play the Eagles were swept, as the Bulldogs won on straight sets on all courts. On court five, Alexandros Roumpis nearly defeated Erik Grevelius in the first set, falling 7-6 before falling in straight sets. 

The Eagles will be back in action this weekend traveling to Furman and Gardner-Webb. Friday's first serve at Furman is scheduled for 2 p.m., while Saturday's first serve is scheduled for noon against Gardner-Webb.
