The Eagles open the spring at the First Coast Classic, hosted by North Florida and Western Kentucky, at Deerwood Country Club.
GS played two tournaments in the fall and is coming off a sixth-place finish in the Mercer Invitational in October. Ella Ofstedahl picked up her third career win and has now finished in the top-10 in six of her last 10 collegiate events. She has eight top-5, 12 top-10 and 19 top-20 career finishes. Ofstedahl is playing a fifth season after the NCAA granted an extra year of eligibility to all spring sport student-athletes because of COVID-19.
Sophomore Alberte Thuesen, who posted four top-10 finishes last season, is back for the spring and will make her season debut for the Eagles.
Ofstedahl makes her 34th career start for the Eagles, while Kaysie Harrelson and Abby Newton will make their third consecutive starts. Bell makes her eighth career start.
The Eagles are paired with Stetson and Cincinnati and tee off holes 8-11 in a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m.
Following the event, the Eagles host the Strutter Gus Invitational at GS University Golf Course Feb. 21-22.
