Georgia Southern Athletics to Help Host Food Drive Jan. 15

The Eagles will be dispensing 1,000 meals at Statesboro High School.
STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern Department of Athletics and Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) will partner with Feed the Boro to host a Food Drive, an APEX Community Impact Project, Saturday, January 15, from 8-10 a.m. at Statesboro High School.
Georgia Southern student-athletes and staff, along with Feed the Boro, will be dispensing 1,000 boxes of food to families in need in the Statesboro community.
"We pride ourselves on community service and helping those in need," said Gleen Hart, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Development. "It is my belief that we can greatly impact this community by giving back and continuing to support our athletic department and the APEX Program mission to be servant leaders."
