Men’s Basketball Signs Prince Toyambi

The redshirt sophomore transfers in from Cincinnati.
STATESBORO – Georgia Southern men's basketball coach Brian Burg announced today that Prince Toyambi (Kinshasa, Congo/Cincinnati) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Eagles, beginning in the 2020-21 season.

Before Georgia Southern: Redshirted the last two seasons at Cincinnati • Named to the Bearcats Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List during the 2019 spring semester • Also named to The American's All-Academic Team • Averaged 17.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 58.7 percent (88 of 150) from the floor during 12 games for team "The Truth" at the NIKE EBYL and Peach Jam Invitational during the summer 2018 • Attended Fresno High School in Fresno, Calif.
