STATESBORO – Quan Jackson tallied 21 points, five rebounds and four steals, and Georgia Southern held Troy to 35 percent shooting to earn an 86-57 Sun Belt men's basketball win over the Trojans Thursday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Isaiah Crawley made three triples and all seven of his free throws on his way to 18 points and 10 rebounds, his third double-double of the season.
Calvin Wishart netted 13, and
Elijah McCadden collected 12 points, five rebounds and two steals.
Ike Smith chipped in five points, six assists and nine boards.
Key moments
After Troy (8-15, 4-8) scored 17 straight points to open a 10-point cushion early in the first half, the Eagles (13-9, 7-4) responded with a 25-0 spurt over the next 7:06 of game time. Crawley made three straight triples, and Jackson scored eight during the run. The Eagles allowed just four points over the final 10 minutes of the first half and led 41-25 at the break.
McCadden scored seven points in an 11-1 run as the Eagles increased the margin to 71-43 with 8:51 remaining. The lead ballooned to 32 points on a pair of
Ike Smith free throws with 6:40 to go.

The Eagles held Troy to 6 of 25 from 3-point range, and the Trojans fell to 3-12 this season when making less than 10 triples. GS held the Trojans to 1 for 12 from the floor and forced five turnovers in the final 10 minutes of the first half.
