What head coach Sean McCaffrey had to say:
"Looking back on the weekend at the Mercer Invite, I have come away with a great deal of excitement and optimism in the way our women had competed.  I believe our Eagles played with a great deal of energy and effort, and we have all come away with a strong feeling of pride.  We also learned a few things that we will be able to work on in the coming weeks that will only make us better.  Charlotte, Hannah, Paula (Hijos) and Mila all did a great job rising above the difficulties of playing multiple matches each day and came away stronger and wiser for it.  I am very encouraged about the direction we are headed in and I know the women are eager to get back on the court and get back to work."

Up Next:
The team will host the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout Oct. 11-13 before heading to the ITA Regional Championships Oct. 17-20. in Tallahassee, Florida.
