Quotable from head coach Chad Willis
"We're showing execution in spurts. We still have our moments where we get a little bit of lulls, but we keep preaching the same message that if we keep having the same effort level every day and control the things we can control in terms of first contact and working on our priorities, we have all the pieces that we need to compete. The first two matches today were validation of that work, and the message being consistent. Madison Brown did an excellent job of establishing our offense today. We hit over .250 in the first match and over .300 in the second. She's doing a great job, and that starts with our passers and being in system and going back to the service line and attacking when we need to attack."
"It's a solid start at home. We talked a lot about feeding off this energy. We knew this morning it was going to be important for our bench to provide energy, and they have been doing a great job of really providing a boost for us on the court all year. Tonight, this was one of the better crowds we've had here. It was really just electric, and I think our team really fed off the energy. I think as long as we keep getting people out, we're going to put a good product on the floor, and hopefully everybody will have fun and enjoy the atmosphere."
