STATESBORO – Georgia Southern sophomore student-athletes participated in mock interviews Monday night at Nessmith-Lane. The event is part of the Eagles in Transition/Life Beyond Sport Program.Â
Student-athletes went through a Mock Interview Session and then had their interview critiqued and receiveed feedback from the interviewer. A number of companies and entities were on hand to help: One Life America Insurance, Enterprise, The Hube Law Firm, Screven Co. Schools, Evans Co. Schools, Georgia Southern Office of Career Services, Synovus Bank Optim Medical Center, and Selec-Source.
The Eagles in Transition/Life Beyond Sport Program focuses on the holistic development of Eagle student-athletes through professional, personal, leadership development, financial education and community service.
Next up on the docket is a finance seminar for juniors April 22 at Nessmith-Lane.
