STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern Track and Field Team released the schedule for its upcoming indoor and outdoor seasons Tuesday with action beginning Dec. 7 at Clemson.
 
The team begins the indoor season at the Clemson Season Opener before making two separate trips to Columbia, South Carolina for the Gamecock Opener Jan. 17-18 and the Carolina Challenge Jan. 31. The final indoor regular season contest will be at the Samford Invite Feb. 14. The Sun Belt Championship will be held in Birmingham, Alabama Feb. 24-25.
 
Outdoor competition will begin at home with the Georgia Southern GATA Classic Mar. 14 followed by a seven-meet road trip before returning home to host the Georgia Southern Spring Classic. Notable road meets include the prestigious Florida Relays April 2-4 and Penn Relays April 23-24.
