STATESBORO - Liberty University claimed a 31-7 win over host Georgia Southern in a dual diving meet held Saturday morning at the RAC.
Nine divers competed in both 1 Meter and 3 Meter events, five for the Flames and four for the host Eagles.Â
Liberty's Abigail Egolf Jensen paced the field in the 1 Meter, scoring 277.35 points. Liberty's Olivia Robinson finished second with a score of 276.53, while the Eagles'
Sara Rogers placed third with a score of 263.33. The score from Sara was less than two points from the score needed to qualify for the NCAA Zone Qualifying meet (265).
The 3 Meter event was won by Robinson of the Flames with a score of 279.15. Her teammate Jensen finished second with a score of 272.25 and Lauren Chennault of Liberty finished third with a score of 239.25.

Georgia Southern will now prepare for the 2019 CCSA Championships, which take place on Feb. 20-23 in Lynchburg, Va.
