The event returns to the Raven Golf Club in Sandestin, Fla. The Eagles finished fourth there in 2016, the program's first season of existence. Ansley Bowman is the only current Eagle who played in that tournament, and the junior tied for 29th.
GS will use the same lineup as the Eagles have used in each event this spring. Bowman makes her 28th start for the Eagles, and Ella Ofstedahl makes her 15th. Julianna Collett will make her 10th career start, while freshmen Sarah Noonan and Natalie Petersen are in the lineup for the 11th time. This will be Bowman's third start in the Sun Belt Championship and Ofstedahl's second. The duo are the only current Eagles who have played in the event.
Ofstedahl has three top-10 finishes and five top-20s this season and ranks 14th in the Sun Belt in scoring average. The sophomore has placed in the top-10 in her last two events. Petersen had two top-20 finishes in the fall, and Bowman has two top-15 outings.
The Eagles are coming off a 10th-place outing at the Charleston Invitational April 3.
Georgia Southern is paired with Little Rock and ULM for Sunday's first round and will tee off the 10th hole at 9:10 a.m. ET.
