Event held in Hanner Fieldhouse
STATESBORO - As part of the athletic department's community service initiative in conjunction with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the Georgia Southern men's soccer team will help host a blood drive on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hanner Fieldhouse round-about.
"We are pleased to assist with this blood drive and appreciate SAAC's effort to help with this endeavor," said head soccer coach John Murphy. "Both Chase Herzog and Cody Prentiss have done fine jobs as our SAAC reps this year and we are grateful for their efforts thus far. Giving back to the campus and greater Statesboro community is an important part of our program so we hope to have a large turn out."
