KENNESAW, Ga. – Ella Ofstedahl shot 75-73=148, and the Georgia Southern women's golf team is in ninth place after two rounds of the Hennsler Intercollegiate Monday at Pinetree Country Club.
The Eagles are a stroke ahead of Eastern Michigan and 12 behind Troy. Kent State leads the field, followed by Ole Miss, Augusta, Kennesaw State and Coastal Carolina. Ofstedahl is in a four-way tie for ninth on the individual leaderboard and just two strokes back of a tie for fourth.
Natalie Petersen shot 79-77=156, and Ansley Bowman posted an 83-79=162 for the Eagles. Sarah Noonan shot 84-81=165 and Julianna Collett carded an 86-84=170.

Ofstedahl led the Eagles with three birdies and played the final 12 holes of the afternoon 1-under-par with birdies at holes 5 and 6. The sophomore made par on eight of her final nine holes.
Petersen played her final nine holes 1-under with birdies on 7 and 12, and Bowman parred her final four holes of the day.
