STATESBORO, Ga. – On Saturday morning the Eagles open up a three match home stand inside the friendly confines of Wallis Tennis Center. The Eagles will face off against Presbyterian, ABAC, Chattanooga, and South Carolina State University.
The Eagles have been on the road for the last 11 matches of the season and are eager to return to the friendly confines of the Wallis Tennis Center.
Pascal Wagemaker will look to build upon his 4-3 record in singles play. Wagemaker won his only match this season at home against Carver Arant of Mercer, 7-6, 7-5.
"We have been on the road the last month or so," head coach
Sander Koning said. "It is good to be back home and play on familiar ground. We will have a busy and tough weekend ahead with four good opponents. We had some good practices and I believe the guys are ready to protect the nest!"
Eddie Landin enters the weekend with a 4-6 record overall, but is coming home with a two match winning streak against Charlotte and Winthrop. Landin also posts a 4-3 record in doubles play winning three of the last five matches they have played in.
Saturday matches will start at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. both at the Wallis Tennis Center. Sunday the Eagles will play Chattanooga at the Mill Creek Park beginning at 10:00 a.m. The second half of the doubleheader will begin at 2:30 inside the Wallis Tennis Center with the Eagles taking on the Bulldogs of South Carolina State.

The Eagles currently lead the series over Presbyterian 9-0. The Blue and White will look to make it 10 straight on Saturday morning.

The Mocs currently lead the series over the Eagles 14-17, with the Eagles taking the last match 4-2 in Chattanooga.
The Bulldogs currently lead the series over the Eagles 2-5, with the Eagles winning the last match 6-1 inside the Wallis Tennis Center.
