Sun Belt Indoor Championships: Day Two Results

Eagles conclude the second and final day of competition at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships
STATESBORO, Ga. – Day two and the final day of competition at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships concluded this evening. The final day featured the Eagles gaining four points and moving up three spots in the final standings.
The Eagles continued to post top-15 performances and made a push in the field events. The second half of day two featured the Shot Put event which helped the Eagles gain their final four points. The Blue and White produced some points in the form of the Shot Put event. Jamelia Owens posted a 14.13 meter throw to give the Eagles four points and move up the Sun Belt Standings.
The Eagles will be back in action March 9 – 10 for the start of the outdoor season. The Blue and White will head to Conway, South Carolina to compete in the Coastal Carolina Invite. The outdoor season will continue through the middle of May when the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships are held. The location for the SBC Outdoor Championships will be held in San Marcos, Texas at Texas State.
