TALLAHASSEE, FLA. - Georgia Southern Cross Country put a bow on the 2018 Cross Country Season with a 29th place finish at the highly competitive NCAA South Regional. Freshman
Merabu Nagwandala continued to lead the Eagles in the standings, placing 144th to lead the squad. The race was contested over 6000m at the Appalachee Regional Park outside of Tallahassee.
Seniors
Sholonda Snell (154th place),
Erin Mullican (177th place) and
Ellunde Montgomery (194th place) ran their final collegiate cross country race on Friday morning. Snell picked up 20 places from the 2200m mark and the finish and 12 places in the final kilometer with a strong kick, which she covered in 3:49.3.
