Senior Student-Athletes Gain Employment Advice from Local Businesses

The event is part of the Eagles in Transition/Life Beyond Sport program.
STATESBORO – Georgia Southern senior student-athletes participated in All Pro Day Networking Night Monday in Hanner Fieldhouse, one of a series of events in the Eagles in Transition/Life Beyond Sport program.
In a job fair-type setting, student-athletes were able to discuss career opportunities and get employment advice and feedback from local businesses.
"I am very excited about tonight's event and appreciate all the support from the business community and their desire to help impact the lives of of our student-athletes as they prepare for the future," said Gleen Hart, Senior Associate Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Development/Life Beyond Sport.
All Pro Day Networking Night is part of the Eagles in Transition/Life Beyond Sport Program, which focuses on the holistic development of Eagle student-athletes through professional, personal, leadership development, financial education and community service.
Next up on the docket is a Finance Seminar for senior student-athletes Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. in Nessmith-Lane Conference Center.
