What You Need to Know: Basketball Home Doubleheaders

Important information for this week's basketball doubleheaders.
Hoops Doubleheaders - All home Sun Belt Conference games this season with the exception of Georgia State will be doubleheaders on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons. On Thursdays, the women will tip things off at 5 p.m., and on Saturdays, the women start things off at 2 p.m.

Salute to Heroes Night – All active duty and veteran military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and EMS receive free admission with valid ID and may purchase discount $5 general admission tickets for either game or $10 for both games for family members. GS men's soccer junior Emil Laursen will receive his CoSIDA Academic All-America plaque during the men's game.

Mark Your Calendar - The men's basketball game against Georgia State Feb. 16 is a single game and was selected to be broadcast live on ESPN2. Tipoff is 9 p.m.
Need help? - We want all patrons to have the best experience possible when watching a game at Hanner Fieldhouse. If you, or someone in your party, needs assistance please see an ARGUS representative or a member of the Georgia Southern Athletics Department.
Free admissions for students - Students from Georgia Southern, Armstrong State and East Georgia who have paid their athletic fee gain free admission with their student ID.
Where's my seat? - The student section is behind the benches, and season ticket seating is across from the benches.
Student entrance - All students should enter via the new student entrance on the campus side of the building off of Herty Drive.
Parking - the top lot off of Herty Drive is paid donor parking. The lots in front of the Parrish Building, by J.I. Clements Baseball Stadium via Sweetheart Circle and adjacent to the Hollis Building are free.
Clear Bag Policy - In order to expedite entry and provide a safe environment for all patrons and participants, Georgia Southern Athletics has implemented a Clear Bag Policy for all ticketed sporting events, effective Aug. 1, 2017.
