Emilia Bujan leads the charge as Eagles continue their success at home
STATESBORO, Ga. – This past weekend the Georgia Southern women's tennis team concluded a short two match home stand at the Wallis Tennis Center. The Eagles would improve their record to 9-2 on the season, and a perfect 6-0 at home. Emilia Bujan improved her singles record to 6-0 on the home courts, while not dropping a single set since February 18th against No. 11 Georgia Tech.
BETHUNE-COOKMAN – On Friday afternoon the Eagles hosted Bethune-Cookman University, defeating the Wildcats 4-3. The Eagles took an early lead heading into singles play, Mariana Ranzahuer and Lindsay Truscott defeated their opponents 6-4. The Eagles would wrap up the match in singles play taking two matches including a default victory on court six.

KENNESAW STATE – Sunday morning the Eagles hosted Kennesaw State University, defeating the Owls 6-1. The blue and white took the doubles point after Emilia Bujan and Ella Monsey defeated their opponents 7-6 (2) in a tiebreaker. Bujan would continue her success during singles play defeating Jessica Cantrell 6-0, 6-2.
