The story
Eagles by Storey and O'Toole on the 482-yard, par-5 10th hole today helped Georgia Southern lead the tournament in par-5 scoring at -18. GS also ranked third in birdies with 46.

Storey's eagle was part of a stretch of six holes that the junior played 4-under, and after a bogey, he ran off three straight pars before making birdie on hole 1.

O'Toole's eagle came in a 10-hole stretch that the senior played 5-under, and Fisk played his final 14 holes even par after grinding through some early trouble. Price made par on his first four holes of the day, and Barron played his final seven holes even par.

Quotables from Coach Carter Collins
"Overall, this was another good week for this team. We started and finished on holes 2-6 which is one of the toughest stretches in college golf."

"Today, we shot the fifth-lowest team round, and Jake shot the second-lowest individual round on a golf course that played extremely hard."

"I'm very proud of how we handled the tough stretch, tough course and persevered through it. This team continues to grow and get better each week, and I can't wait to see where we are heading."

"Next up is our home event and the best in college golf, the Schenkel."
