Eagles Mess With Texas, Take Series Over UT Arlington with Sunday Win

Georgia Southern tallies nine two-out RBIs in the 9-5 win

ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Georgia Southern Baseball hung crooked numbers in the first and eighth innings to take the 9-5 win over UT Arlington on Sunday. The Eagles won the final two games of the series to close the week 4-1 and are now 3-3 in Sun Belt Conference play. This week the Eagles travel to face College of Charleston on Tuesday night on Patriot's Point.

QUOTABLES
Head Coach Rodney Hennon
"There were a lot of two-out hits today. It was good to jump out early and Chase (Cohen) did a good job for us. I liked the way that we responded after they cut back into the game. We did a good job of keeping our poise and getting some big hits late in the game. The bullpen did a nice job finishing the game off."
