Eagles post third place finish for second-straight year in opener
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Georgia Southern Cross Country opened the 2016 campaign on Saturday with a third place finish at the Carolina Challenge, hosted by the University of South Carolina. The Eagles finished third in the seven team field which featured six teams from the Palmetto State. Georgia Southern's top five runners were covered by less than a minute as Ashton Lord led the team home.
