• Georgia Southern was swept last weekend by Texas State, but has bounced back with two wins this week. The Eagles dispatched No. 24 College of Charleston 13-10 on Tuesday night and unloaded on Savannah State for a 16-1 win on Wednesday.
• The Eagles are currently fourth in the Sun Belt standings entering week five of league play, even with Little Rock at 6-6.

EAGLES SWEEP MIDWEEK DOUBLE OVER COUGARS AND TIGERS
• Georgia Southern's busiest weekend of the season (to this point) opened with back-to-back midweek wins, beginning with a 13-10 victory over No. 24 College of Charleston. Just 24 hours later, the Eagles downed Savannah State 16-1 with the season's highest offensive output.
• Four Eagles posted three hits each against College of Charleston with Kent Rollins taking four RBIs and Ryan Cleveland swatting his seventh home run of the season.

Evan McDonald and Logan Baldwin both had four-hit games against the Tigers. McDonald scored four of his own while Baldwin drove in three.
• Freshman Lawson Humphries, who was just eight years old the last time the Eagles and Tigers played on the diamond, took his first collegiate win to improve to 1-1 on the year.

IN THE CLASSROOM
• The Georgia Southern baseball team posted a 3.25 GPA in the fall semester, its highest semester GPA in program history.
• 28 of the Eagles were on the honor roll with 12 on the Dean's List and 3 on the President's List.
