ANOTHER LONG NIGHT AT THE OFFICE
• The March 8th win over Kennesaw State was a rather sloppy affair from all accounts with eight combined errors and seven wild pitches by the Owls.
• Georgia Southern stole seven bases in the game (a season high) behind a career-high three by first baseman Ryan Cleveland.
Anthony Paesano earned his first collegiate win by pitching a third of an inning in the 12th and getting the Eagles out of a jam.

EAGLES TAKE ONE OF THREE VS LITTLE ROCK
• Georgia Southern took one of three from Little Rock 4/22-24 by winning the opening game of the series in walk-off fashion. CJ Ballard's chopper to second base went down as a hit which allowed CJ Brazil to score from third and ice the 3-2 win.
• Little Rock's Cory Malcom gave the Trojans eight plus innings, but the visitors were able to hold on for the 3-2 win and even the series.
• Sunday's series finale was a wild one which featured 12 total pitchers, 25 runs and lots of crooked numbers on the scoreboard. Little Rock led 7-1 early, but the Eagles battled back to make it 7-3 and later 11-8 before six unanswered Trojan runs gave them the 17-8 win.

EAGLES PARTNER WITH VS. CANCER FOUNDATION
• Georgia Southern hosted its second Vs. Cancer Day on April 3rd, raising funds and awareness for the Vs. Cancer Foundation to help combat children's cancer.
• The Eagles surpassed their goal of raising $8,000 for the foundation by gathering more than $11,000.
