Georgia Southern looks for third-straight Sun Belt series win on the road
ARLINGTON, TEXAS – Georgia Southern Baseball is back on the road this weekend with a trip to face the UT Arlington Mavericks in a three-game Sun Belt series. The Eagles enter the series following two-straight league series wins on the road with wins over App State and Arkansas State. First pitch for the opening game of the series is 6:30 p.m. (CT)/7:30 p.m. (ET) in on Friday night.

• Georgia Southern returned to its winning ways with an 8-5 win over Mercer on Wednesday night in a contest that was pushed 24 hours due to rain.
• Logan Baldwin went 4-for-5 to lead the way for the offense which had 15 hits. That closed a run of three non-conference games with 16.6 hits per game and 12.3 runs per game where the Eagles went 3-0 with wins over Charleston, Savannah State and Mercer.
IN THE CLASSROOM
• The Georgia Southern baseball team posted a 3.25 GPA in the fall semester, its highest semester GPA in program history.
• 28 of the Eagles were on the honor roll with 12 on the Dean's List and 3 on the President's List.
EAGLES PARTNER WITH VS. CANCER FOUNDATION
• Georgia Southern hosted its second Vs. Cancer Day on April 3rd, raising funds and awareness for the Vs. Cancer Foundation to help combat children's cancer.
• The Eagles surpassed their goal of raising $8,000 for the foundation by gathering more than $11,000.
