Eagles look to avenge a 16-inning loss to the Yellow Jackets

STATESBORO, GA. – With three rounds of Sun Belt play in the books, Georgia Southern will travel to Midtown Atlanta for a midweek tilt at Georgia Tech. The Eagles dropped a 6-5 result to the Yellow Jackets back in February in a game that lasted 16 innings. The Eagles will look for revenge on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. Danny Reed and Kris Draper will be on hand to call the action on the Georgia Southern Sports Network from Learfield Sports.

- On Saturday evening the Eagles scored four runs in the seventh to tie the game at 5-5, but a run in the ninth gave Arkansas State the 7-6 win.
- In the series finale, Georgia Southern tallied 13 hits and stranded 12 runners aboard. The Eagles got 20-straight outs from Brian Eichhorn after he gave up three runs in the first inning.
