Basketball Season Tickets

Season tickets for Eagle basketball go on sale Friday, Sept. 25

STATESBORO, Ga. - Season tickets for another exciting Eagle basketball season will go on sale Friday, Sept. 25, 2015.  The Sun Belt will utilize a 20-game conference schedule for each men's and women's basketball program for the second consecutive season.

Season ticket options are available for both general admission and reserved seating and comes with reserved parking when purchased.

Fans can enjoy bucket seats in the reserved sections for $90 a season ticket for either men's or women's basketball. A combo package is also available for $120 and  includes both men's and women's basketball.  Alternatively, general admission season tickets are $65 and are located behind the baskets on bench seating.

Single tickets are set to go on sale at a later date. Youth tickets are available for $5 on the day of the game for kids ages 4 through 12. Children ages 3 and under are free.

Group ticket options are available for groups of 25 or more by calling 1 (800) GSU-WINS or by visiting the ticket office.

The men's basketball season opener is set for Nov. 13 against Webber International.  Last season, Georgia Southern went 22-9 to record the program's first 20-win year since the 2005-06 campaign and were just two points shy of its first NCAA Tournament bid since 1992, falling to rival Georgia State in the Championship game. The 2015-16 squad will be one of the nation's youngest with just one senior (graduate transfer DeVince Boykins). Returners Jake Allsmiller, Mike Hughes, Coye Simmons and Devonte Boykins will be joined by a cast of three redshirt freshmen (Aubrey McRae, Shawn O'Connell and Jonathan Sanks) and four true freshmen (Montae Glenn, Ike Smith, Tookie Brown and Jason Burnell).

The women's basketball's 2015-16 season opener is set for Nov. 15 against Lipscomb.  The Eagles return their top two scorers from last year's squad with Angel McGowan (13.1 ppg) and Patrice Butler (12.2 ppg) back for the 2015-16 campaign. In total, 13 returners highlight a Georgia Southern squad which is poised to compete for a Sun Belt Championship. This  season is the first campaign for the Eagles in the Coach Kip Drown era. Drown has served nearly 30 years as a head coach and holds a career record of 463-336 (.579) at Southwest Baptist, Georgia Southwestern, Grand Canyon and most recently, Colorado State-Pueblo
