STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Softball puts a wrap on the 2015 regular season this weekend with three games against in-state rival Georgia State. The series begins on Friday with the annual Pink Out to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness from 6 p.m. The regular season concludes on Saturday afternoon with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Eagle Softball will honor its six seniors before the game.

Marla Thompson will be honored in a pregame ceremony on Saturday for their contributions to the program. Fans are encouraged to arrive before 12:45 p.m. in order to watch the on-field ceremony.

Live VideoGeorgia Southern punched its ticket for the Sun Belt Tournament last weekend and will open the postseason on Wednesday, May 6th at 12:30 p.m. (CT). The Eagles are locked in as the No. 8 seed with an opening round game against the No. 5 seeded team. Full tournament seeding will be announced on Sunday after completion of the regular season.
