Eagles Post Four Top-10 Finishes on Day One

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Georgia Southern Track and Field team posted four top-10 finishes on the first day of the UNF Spring Break Invitational at Hodges Stadium.
Ashleigh Rasheed tallied the Eagles' highest finish of the day and placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 11.93m. Rasheed also competed in the long jump (5.30m) and finished 12th.
Rebecca Parker improved on her time from the outdoor season opener and finished fourth in the steeplechase with a time of 12:07.76.
Kelsey Arnold placed sixth in the hammer toss (47.20m) to lead Georgia Southern in the throws. She also placed 21st in the discus throw with a distance of 33.73m.
Asha Stegall rounded out the top-10 performances for the Eagles with a time of 56.48 in the 400m dash.
Jordan Fordham also competed in the 100m dash (12.21) and 200m dash (25.14).
