Coach Koning's Thoughts"I believe the next two matches will be good competition. Mercer is a well-coached team and I expect them to come out playing aggressive. We will have to be ready for that and take it to them ourselves.
Our match against South Carolina State is a continuation of a match earlier this season. We are down 1-0. The good thing is that both teams will have to create momentum again and I believe we have a good opportunity to take it if we play aggressive from the first point."
WeatherTuesday in Macon: High of 72 under mostly cloudy skies. Chance of rain 10%
Wednesday in Statesboro: High of 78 with 80% chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
Up NextAfter South Carolina State, the Eagles will stay at home for weekend matches. The men will take on Bethune-Cookman Saturday March 28th at 2:30 p.m. and USC-Upstate Sunday March 29th at 2 p.m.
