Saturday’s Baseball Game Suspended Due to Rain

STATESBORO, Ga. – Saturday's baseball game between the Georgia Southern Eagles and the Georgia Bulldogs was suspended due to rain and will resume Sunday at 1 p.m.
The game was delayed with a runner at first base and nobody out in the bottom of the second inning. C.J. Brazil was at the plate in a scoreless game with a 1-0 count.
Game three in the series will follow after the completion of game two. Freshman lefthander Connor Simmons will take the rubber in the series finale and will face righthander David Sosebbe.
Tickets from Saturday's game can be redeemed for a new ticket at the will call table in front of J.I. Clements Stadium. Fans presenting their ticket for game two will be issued a new ticket.
